The Final Comprehensive Exam (from now on FCE) was introduced in the academic year 2016-2017 as part of the requirements of the National Law on Higher Education.
1.1 Credits
FCE has the same credits as the Graduation Project according to the curriculum of the respective program.
Economics: 5 Epoka Credits, 6 ECTS.
1.2 Grading
The exam will be graded according to the proportions decided by the department prior to the exam. Students will be graded from FF to AA in accordance with their results shown in the exam. The passing grade is DD, as in other courses. The grade taken from the exam will affect the student’s GPA.
1.3 Exam period
The exam will be held during the Spring Semester, in the Final Examination period.
a. It applies to graduating – 3rd year – bachelor students.
b. GPA for this purpose will be calculated based on the achievements of the students inclusive of the 5th semester.
c. Students having GPA lower than 3.00 will have to take (mandatorily)the Final Comprehensive Exam.
d. Students having GPA 3.00 or higher will have an option either to take the Final Comprehensive Exam or to do a Graduation Project.
Since the FCE is considered as all the other exams (except meaning and content), then the same rules will be applied for considering the “resit exam” and “additional exam” options. For instance, students who did not enter or could not pass the exam will be able to take the resit exam.
FCE for the program of Economics will be done from 70 questions. Students will receive the Pool of Questions at the beginning of the semester. However, regarding open questions, students will be given only the ‘topics’ they need to study.
The evaluation of the FCE grade will be 70% based on the Multiple-Choice questions and 30% based on the Open Questions.
