Economics Department Representatives in Seminar Organised by Central Bank of Albania

Today on 21st of October 2014 in Tirana International Hotel was held a seminar by a very prestigious economist from Stockholm School of Economics, Lars E. O. Svensson organized by Central Bank of Albania.
Lars E. O. Svensson is a professor in Stockholm School of Economics since 2013. He was Deputy Governor of Sveriges Riksbank (Central Bank of Sweeden) during May 2007 – May 2013, Professor of Economics in Princeton University and many other prestigious institutions.
Also he was part of many committees and chair of the Prize Committee for the Alfred Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences during 1999-2001, member during 1993-2002 and secretary during 1988-1992. He has always been active part of monetary policy reviews in many central banks.
The seminar was about Modern Monetary Policy and the best practices around the world in Central Banks. Professor after one hour seminar given to representatives of all commercial banks in Albania and representatives of Universities opened the session of questions and advices for Monetary Policy in Albania and developing countries.
Epoka University was represented by Economics Department Professor Nazli Ari and Research Assistant Jona Hoxhaj who expressed their appreciation toward Professor and the seminar which they found very useful for their professional enhancement.
